In fact, under the new laws, rules, and regulations, much of the information that previously was available to Seller’s in connection with the due diligence and closing of the sale of their homes and properties, is, by law, now not available to them. Going forward, it will be absolutely essential for well-informed Sellers of residential homes and undeveloped properties to be represented by counsel in order to ensure that they have had “their seat at the table” and had an appropriate legal review of the transactions.
